Community gardens in Boroondara

Community gardens are available within Boroondara for residents to grown their own vegetables, meet new friends and learn new skills.
Community gardens can be used for:
  • Growing vegetables and fruit
  • Ornamental horticulture
  • Meeting like-minded people and learning new skills
  • Learning about low water and no dig gardens
There a long waiting lists for community gardens in Boroondara.  Boroondara Sustainability Network member groups are working with Council to identify new locations for community gardens.

  2. Great ideas, our garden is not very big but we have fit in a wendy house and mini trampoline that our 2 1/2 year old loves playing with. Its great to get them out playing in the garden when the weather is good!vacuumcleanertrends
