Community gardens in Boroondara

Community gardens are available within Boroondara for residents to grown their own vegetables, meet new friends and learn new skills.

Community gardens can be used for:

• Growing vegetables and fruit
• Ornamental horticulture
• Meeting like-minded people and learning new skills
• Learning about low water and no dig gardens

There a long waiting lists for community gardens in Boroondara.  Boroondara Sustainability Network member groups are working with Council to identify new locations for community gardens.
